SIA-ABRASIVES-Scouring fleece (roll)

SIA abrasive fleece is a high-quality, flexible abrasive for professional surface finishing in the automotive and painting sectors. It is used for matting, cleaning, and preparing paint, filler, plastic, and metal surfaces, ensuring a uniform, adhesive surface before further coating.

Classification is done via color codes, which roughly correspond to a comparable sandpaper grit range (P-value):

Green (coarse)
corresponds to approx. P320–P360
For heavy preliminary work such as rust removal, cleaning, and sanding of metal or old paint layers. Ensures good material removal and a rough adhesive surface.

Red (medium / Very Fine)
corresponds to approx. P360–P400
Standard in paint build-up. Suitable for sanding filler, old paint, and plastic parts before painting. Ensures good adhesion of subsequent layers.

Gray (ultra fine / Micro Fine)
corresponds to approx. P1200–P1500+
For finishing work, intermediate sanding, and extremely fine matting. Perfect for preparing clear coat or high-gloss surfaces without visible sanding marks.

Thanks to its open, flexible structure, the abrasive fleece adapts optimally to edges, curves, and hard-to-reach areas. This creates a uniform sanding pattern without deep scratches or sanding through.

Available in various shapes such as round or rectangular, making it flexible for different applications in workshops and paint shops.
